Job summary

**Digital Technology Project Management Office Intern****Role Overview**The Summer 2027 Digital Technology PMO Intern will support the Project Management Office (PMO) team by helping maintain accurate project information within the Project Portfolio Management (PPM) tool. This role offers hands-on exposure to project and program management practices while providing valuable experience in project tracking, reporting, financial management, and stakeholder collaboration.The intern will partner with project and program leaders to ensure project data is current, accurate, and aligned with leadership reporting requirements. In addition, this role provides an opportunity to develop foundational project management skills and gain insight into how technology projects are managed across the organization.**Key Responsibilities****On a Typical Day, You Will:*** Collaborate with project and program managers to update and maintain project information within the PPM platform.* Assist with project setup and ongoing administration, including updating: + Project milestones and schedules + Financial data and budget information + Risks, issues, and mitigation plans + Project benefits and key performance metrics + Supporting project documentation and artifacts* Participate in project and program meetings to gather status updates and key information needed for project tracking and reporting.* Support the accuracy and quality of leadership reporting by ensuring project data is complete and up to date.* Provide guidance to project managers on correcting common errors and navigating the PPM tool effectively.* Develop and strengthen project management competencies through exposure to project planning, execution, governance, and reporting processes.**What You Will Learn*** Project and program management fundamentals* Portfolio and project tracking methodologies* Financial management for projects* Risk and issue management practices* Executive reporting and project governance* Collaboration with cross-functional technology teams**What You Need to Be Successful*** Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.* Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.* Effective communication and collaboration skills.* Willingness to actively participate in team meetings, ask questions, and learn new concepts.* Ability to analyze information and translate project updates into accurate reporting within project management tools.**Candidate Qualifications****Education*** Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in business, information technology, management information systems, project management, or a related field* Must have at least one academic term remaining after the internship concludes**Preferred Skills*** Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications, including Excel, Project, PowerPoint, Teams, and Outlook.* Experience with or exposure to Microsoft Project is preferred.* Basic understanding of project management principles and methodologies.* Knowledge of business financial concepts, budgeting, or forecasting.* Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.The hourly range for this role is $20/hr to $26/hr. We may pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may change in the future. Pay within the salary range will be based on factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.
