Job summary

Rolls-Royce invites applications for a Digital Technology – Enterprise Applications – Summer Intern in Novi, Michigan. The 12-week program offers hands-on experience in system development, testing, and software release cycles within the Power Systems division.

Graduating May–Aug 2028 or 2029, U.S. citizenship required with no visa sponsorship. Minimum GPA 3.0. Learn and contribute across IT processes and corporate applications in a global company.

Responsibilities

• Navigate enterprise software applications and provide user-interface training.

• Support IT processes and device setup for laptops and mobile devices.
• Maintain awareness of workload, issues and future assignments.

What you’ll be doing:

• Navigate various enterprise software applications and provide training on their user interfaces various Gain hands-on experience in system development and testing, including unit and integration testing
• Learning to perform software releases and software quality assurance activities
• Apply academic knowledge of emerging technologies to identify and recommend user interface improvements across various applications
• Performance Software installation, Set-up and coordination of activities related to Laptops, Mobile devices, Printers etc.
• Keeping management informed on current workload, issues and future assignments
• Adhering to company work hours, policies, procedures, and rules governing professional staff behavior as well as company and professional ethics governing the handling of confidential information and the observation of confidentiality
• Maintaining professional relationships with company employees, clients and customers, both internal and external
• Promoting a compliance culture in areas of responsibility, and live the letter and the “Spirit of the Rolls Royce” Code of Conduct
• Observing all areas of the IT Help Desk
• Be introduced to the various software systems used within the department
• Become familiar with and support Rolls-Royce and MTU Onsite Energy IT processes
• Assisting with answering employee inquiries regarding computer IT issues.
• Other tasks as assigned by Manager
• Performing special projects as required
