Job summary

Westlake Chemical Corporation is seeking a Category Manager, Digital & Technology to shape enterprise sourcing strategies for IT spend including software, cloud, cybersecurity, and professional services. You will collaborate with IT, Finance, Legal, and Information Security to deliver cost savings, risk mitigation, and supplier performance improvements.

The role requires 8+ years in procurement or category management, with strong negotiation and data analytics skills; experience with SAP/Ariba

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain/Procurement, Business, Finance, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field; MBA or CPSM/ISM preferred.
Minimum of 8 years of procurement, strategic sourcing, category management, supplier management, or contracting experience, with digital/tech categories like software/SaaS, cloud, cybersecurity, telecom, hardware, data center, or IT/IS/Digital services.
Strong knowledge of digital/technology sourcing, licensing metrics, renewals, vendor onboarding, and contract negotiations.
Excellent written and verbal communication with ability to influence senior stakeholders.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and analytics tools; familiarity with SAP, Ariba/e-sourcing, CLM, and reporting tools preferred.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute enterprise digital & technology procurement category strategies and multi-year sourcing roadmaps.
Lead cross-functional teams across IT/IS/Digital, Finance, Legal, and Information Security to drive supplier adoption and compliant buying channels.
Monitor KPI performance, savings, contract coverage, and supplier performance; implement corrective actions as needed.
Conduct market intelligence, spend analytics, benchmarking, and TCO analysis to optimize spend and commercial outcomes.
Lead RFIs/RFPs/RFQs, supplier selection, negotiations, and contract renewals for digital and technology categories.
Ensure policy compliance, risk mitigation, and alignment with SOX controls and regulatory requirements.
