Job summary

NHS Lanarkshire is seeking a Procurement Manager to lead Digital, ICT and technology-enabled procurement across the Board. You will manage complex tenders, national contracts and contract performance, collaborating closely with Digital Services, clinical teams and senior stakeholders to deliver value and transformation.

This role requires a strong procurement track record, knowledge of public procurement laws and a professional qualification (ideally CIPS Level 5+).

Qualifications

• Experience managing procurement exercises and contracts.
• Knowledge of Public Contracts (Scotland) Regulations 2015 and Procurement Reform (Scotland) Act 2014.
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders in a complex environment.
• Degree and procurement qualification (ideally CIPS Level 5+).

Responsibilities

• Lead procurement activities for the Digital, ICT and technology-enabled category.
• Plan and implement procurement strategies and contracts.
• Provide professional advice to management on procurement.
• Represent NHS Lanarkshire on national procurement panels.
• Ensure compliance with Standing Financial Instructions and governance.
• Manage supplier relationships and contract performance.
