Job summary

Metajive in California seeks a highly experienced Senior or Associate Executive Producer for project-based engagements. You will lead digital projects from strategy through delivery, guiding internal teams and clients through the lifecycle while shaping client partnerships and new business opportunities.

You are a proactive leader with exceptional communication, able to mentor junior staff and manage scope, timelines, budgets, and risk across multiple interrelated projects.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of proven Project Manager experience in a creative agency setting.
• Solid understanding of the project lifecycle, including Agile methodologies.
• Experience managing a variety of digital projects, including websites, e-commerce, and system designs.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize effectively.
• Ability to own and execute projects from conception to completion, including scheduling, task assignment, progress tracking, and status reporting.
• Experience in organizing project schedules, dependencies, milestones, and review meetings.
• Experience in managing project financials, including estimates, budget tracking, and revenue.
• Ability to manage project resources within a matrix organization.
• Deep digital experience and understanding of PM best practices.

About the role

We’re looking for a highly experienced and dynamic Senior or Associate Executive Producer to be responsible for delivering best‑in‑class digital executions and overseeing multiple high‑impact client engagements. Leveraging your deep understanding of the digital landscape, you will guide both internal teams and clients through the complex project lifecycle. Requirements

• This is a freelancer / Independent Contractor role for project-based work, there is a possibility that it could become something more.

Responsibilities

• Project Leadership: Lead and manage the entire project lifecycle for a variety of digital projects, including strategy, websites, e-commerce, videos, systems, and products.
• Scope Management: Define project scope of work, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with clients and internal teams.
• Timeline & Budget Management: Develop and manage daily tasks, and create detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
• Resource Allocation: Effectively allocate and manage project resources, including producers, designers, developers, QA specialists, and external resources.
• Risk Management: Identify and assess potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Communication & Collaboration: Facilitate clear and consistent communication between clients, internal teams, and stakeholders.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure projects meet the highest quality standards and client expectations.
• Process Improvement: Drive process optimization and adherence. Contribute to the ongoing development and improvement of project management processes and best practices.
• Client Relationship Management: Manage client expectations, multiple demands, and competing priorities with finesse. Serve as a point of escalation for client projects. Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients.
• New Business: Manage new business opportunities and establish project approaches and scopes for new engagements.

• Experience in organizing project schedules, including task lists, dependencies, milestones, and review meetings.
