Job summary

Northrop Grumman’s AMS E&S organization in Baltimore seeks Digital-RF subsystems integration & test engineers for role focusing on digital and RF subsystem integration with emphasis on controls integration across FPGA and embedded software on SoC FPGA platforms.

Responsibilities include hardware/test environment setup, software for automating tests, data analysis, and collaboration across hardware, firmware, and software teams. A security clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Must hold a secret or top-secret security clearance.
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related discipline with 2 years of experience, or a Master's with 0 years (4 years in lieu of degree).
• Experience using MATLAB, Python, or similar engineering analysis tools.
• Experience with digital and/or RF subsystem integration and test or design.
• Experience supporting hardware bring-up, verification, or troubleshooting activities.

Responsibilities

• Integrate Digital-RF subsystem hardware and lab test environments.
• Integrate new equipment and programs in a state-of-the-art facility.
• Develop software to automate test processes, controls verification, and data analysis.
• Troubleshoot digital, embedded software, FPGA, and RF issues during integration and test.
• Analyze test data to identify trends and root causes.
• Support program meetings for root cause and corrective actions.
• Collaborate with design engineering for hardware, controls, firmware, and test improvements.
