Job summary

Anchorage Neighborhood Health Center is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform routine radiographic examinations of extremities, spine, skull, chest and abdomen. Qualifications

• Experience interpreting radiographic exams and adjusting technique.
• Knowledge of HIPAA and patient confidentiality.
• Familiarity with Epic Radiant and radiology workflows.

Responsibilities

• Operate digital radiography equipment and software.
• Check patient in and create appointment in Epic; ensure orders are correct.
• Evaluate image quality and ensure accurate demographics for radiologist review.
• Coordinate flow of information and images between Epic, Cannon, Shimadzu, E-rad and Clario.
• Disinfect equipment, maintain room cleanliness, observe infection control procedures.
• Process paperwork, billing and CPT codes; assist with billing reconciliation.
• Provide patient education on BCHC enrollment as applicable.
