Job summary

Alaska Regional Hospital in Anchorage is seeking a CT Technologist to support our radiology team. You will perform diagnostic CT procedures, administer contrast, and ensure patient safety according to ALARA and departmental guidelines.

You will work with radiologists and nurses, maintain equipment, and participate in ongoing learning. Qualified candidates will have ARRT-CT and ARRT-R credentials and a vocational school background. Alaska offers a vibrant community and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support required within 30 days of start date.
• ARRT-CT certification required within 6 months of start date.
• ARRT-Radiography certification completed or in progress, as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic CT procedures under approved protocols and ALARA standards.
• Administer oral and IV contrast and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Operate CT equipment and ensure proper patient positioning and safety.
• Assist radiologists and follow department guidelines for imaging quality.
• Document exam results and cooperate with the Diagnostic Imaging team.
