Job summary

Anchorage Neighborhood Health Center Inc. seeks a Radiologic Technologist to perform standard X-ray exams across extremities, spine, skull, chest and abdomen in a clinic setting. Fluoroscopy is not performed.

Meticulous image quality, correct technique and patient safety are essential. ARRT RT certification and BLS/CPR are required, with one year of experience preferred. Epic Radiant, Clario and other imaging tools are used daily.

Qualifications

• One year experience in radiology preferred.
• Current ARRT RT certification required or to be obtained within one year.
• BLS/CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Operate digital radiography and software components.
• Adjust mA and KVP for proper technique.
• Protect patient with shielding and minimize exposure.
• Ensure correct markers and image sequencing.
• Evaluate image quality and demographics; route to reading radiologist.
• Disinfect equipment and maintain room cleanliness.
