Job summary

Anchorage Neighborhood Health Center is seeking a Radiology Technologist to perform routine x-ray examinations with a focus on patient safety and image quality. The role requires ARRT RT certification, a 2-year degree, and BLS/CPR certification.

You will work in a team-driven clinic supporting diverse patients in Anchorage. Under supervision, you will operate digital radiography equipment, adjust exposure settings using AEC, and coordinate imaging with radiologists and electronic systems.

Qualifications

• Current ARRT RT certification or must obtain ARRT RT certification within one year.
• Must have and maintain current BLS/CPR certification.
• One year experience preferred.
• Bilingual preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate digital radiography equipment and ensure image quality for extremities, spine, skull, chest and abdomen.
• Adjust mA and KVP using AEC; minimize radiation exposure with shielding.
• Process patient in Epic, coordinate images with Radiologist and other systems (Cannon/Shimadzu/Clario).
• Assist with paperwork, billing, and reporting; ensure correct orders and CPT codes.
