• Certifications such as CIPP/US or CIPT are a plus but not required.

Brief Description

PING, Inc is seeking a Digital Privacy & Compliance Analyst to ensure the organization's digital systems, websites, and technical implementations comply with domestic and international privacy and compliance requirements. This role sits alongside technical teams during system and website implementations to identify potential privacy issues, researches and resolves ambiguous cases, and coordinates with internal and, when needed, external legal counsel to clarify open questions. The analyst also owns accessibility compliance across PING's digital properties. This person will translate privacy requirements into practical guidance and know when and how to engage legal counsel.

Duties

• Participate directly in technical reviews (such as code, system design, database, or architecture discussions) and in website or system implementation planning, to identify potential privacy issues as they arise.
• Develop and provide AI review prompts and guidance to technical teams to improve the clarity, accuracy, and privacy focus of automated code and system reviews.
• Research flagged or ambiguous privacy issues in depth and bring back concrete findings and recommended solutions.
• Coordinate with internal legal counsel, and external counsel when needed, to resolve open questions, acting as the translator between technical or business context and legal review.
• Maintain documentation of identified privacy issues, research conducted, and resolutions reached, to support audit readiness and institutional memory.
• Validate existing accessibility standards, aligned to WCAG 2.1/2.2 and ADA requirements, are consistently met across PING's digital properties and systems, updating standards as needed when gaps or regulatory changes require it.
• Continuously maintain and audit accessibility compliance across PING's digital properties and systems throughout their lifecycle and coordinate remediation with technical teams when issues are identified.
• Partner with the Corporate Compliance Director on broader compliance program elements (standards, assessments, reporting, audit readiness).
• Maintain an inventory of all vendors that touch applicable data and verify that each vendor complies with the contractual privacy, and legal standards PING has established with them.
• Remain current on domestic and international privacy laws and regulations, including how they apply to PING's systems and data flows.
• Maintain awareness of PCI scope and flag any potential scope expansion to Finance.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Business, Risk Management, or a related field from a properly accredited college or university, plus a minimum of 2 years' experience in IT compliance/GRC, privacy compliance, or digital compliance; OR equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience working directly with technical or engineering teams on system, code, or data-related reviews. Relevant privacy or compliance certifications preferred.
• CIPP/US or CIPT preferred, not required.
• CPACC, WAS, or CPWA preferred, not required.
• Excellent oral and written communication, analytical, interpersonal, and team skills, with the ability to gain consensus and translate regulatory requirements into practical, operational digital processes.
• Experience in enterprise e-commerce or multi-property digital environments.
• Ability to use AI tools for research and prompt creation, improving efficiency and the quality of engagement with legal, management, and technical teams.
• Experience managing consent frameworks and data subject rights workflows.
• Intermediate knowledge of WCAG 2.1/2.2 and ADA compliance, with experience reviewing digital implementations for accessibility issues.
• Experience verifying third-party vendor compliance with contractual privacy and data protection standards.
• Experience supporting internal or external audits.
• Experience working with global personal data across jurisdictions, including varying international privacy requirements.
• Maintain a high level of confidentiality and discretion.
• Proficient in Microsoft 365 applications and collaboration tools.
