Job summary

Ping Identity in Colorado is seeking a Technical Enablement Associate to support the development and delivery of technical enablement for Sales Engineering, Partner Pre‑sales, and other GTM teams. You will configure and troubleshoot demo environments, create and repurpose enablement materials, and support live and virtual events while coordinating with multiple stakeholders.

The role emphasizes hands-on lab work, documentation, and program coordination, with standard 8–5 hours and up to 10%

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, Engineering, or 5+ years of equivalent experience.
  • 1+ years of customer-facing or communication-focused experience.
  • Basic programming or scripting in Python, JavaScript, Java, Bash, or PowerShell; ability to write or modify simple scripts.
  • Foundational knowledge of IT, cybersecurity, AI, cloud concepts, web apps, APIs, or IAM.
  • Practical AI fluency with AI tools to improve productivity and create technical content; understands AI terminology.

Responsibilities

  • Learn Ping products and IAM concepts; apply to technical enablement activities.
  • Configure, test, refresh, and troubleshoot demo environments; document steps and issues.
  • Create and update technical enablement materials: guides, lab instructions, walkthroughs, presentations, videos.
  • Execute test cases; validate workflows; document defects and communicate findings to stakeholders.
  • Support onboarding, training sessions, workshops; assist with logistics, materials, and follow-up.
  • Assist Program Manager with task tracking, schedules, content publishing, and reporting.
  • Work hours typically 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.; potential extra hours for global coverage; travel up to 10%.

With a passion for Ping products and services, the Technical Enablement Associate will support the development and delivery of technical enablement for Ping's Sales Engineering organization, Partner Pre‑sales, and other sales‑aligned Go‑to‑Market teams. This role combines hands‑on work with demo and proof‑of‑concept environments, technical content, product workflows, and learning experiences with project coordination and operational support for our Technical Enablement program. The successful candidate will help configure and troubleshoot technical environments, create clear and reusable enablement materials, support live and virtual events, and continuously improve the learner experience. They will work closely with Technical Enablement Architects, the Technical Enablement Program Manager, Sales Engineering, Revenue Enablement, Product, Engineering, and other cross‑functional stakeholders. This role is an excellent opportunity for a technically curious, highly organized, enthusiastic individual to build depth in identity and access management while developing practical program‑management skills.

You will:

  • Learn Ping products and foundational identity and access management concepts, and apply that knowledge to technical enablement activities.
  • Configure, test, refresh, and troubleshoot demo, lab, and proof‑of‑concept environments; document setup steps, known issues, and repeatable processes.
  • Create, update, and repurpose technical enablement materials, including quick‑start guides, lab instructions, technical walkthroughs, presentations, and recorded content.
  • Execute defined test cases, validate product workflows, document defects or gaps, and communicate findings clearly to technical stakeholders.
  • Support onboarding, training sessions, workshops, and other live or virtual enablement events through demos, hands‑on exercises, logistics, materials, and follow‑up.
  • Support the Technical Enablement Program Manager with task tracking, schedules, meeting preparation, content publishing, program documentation, reporting, feedback collection, and other operational activities.
  • Work hours generally align with 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday; flexibility outside these hours may be required due to Ping's global business, and minimal travel for events may be required, up to 10%.

You have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, Engineering, or a related field, or 5+ years of equivalent experience.
  • 1+ years of experience in customer-facing or communication-focused roles.
  • Basic programming or scripting experience in a language such as Python, JavaScript, Java, Bash, or PowerShell, with the ability to write or modify simple scripts.
  • Foundational knowledge of information technology, cybersecurity, AI, cloud concepts, web applications, APIs, or identity and access management.
  • Practical AI fluency, including experience using AI tools to improve productivity, research and synthesize technical information, and create or refine technical enablement materials, along with a conversational understanding of common AI terminology and concepts.
  • The ability to follow technical procedures, troubleshoot using logs and documentation, identify and communicate issues, and elevate blockers appropriately.
  • Strong communication, organization, attention to detail, collaboration, and ownership, with the energy, initiative, commitment, and passion to learn; ability to build peer support and strong internal relationships; and an understanding of adult learning principles and program effectiveness measurement.

You have an advantage if:

  • You have exposure to SSO, MFA, orchestration, identity governance, authorization, identity verification, identity risk, or related IAM concepts.
  • You have built or supported demos, labs, sandboxes, proof‑of‑concept environments, technical workshops, or hands‑on exercises.
  • You have experience in technical enablement, sales engineering, software development, IT, cybersecurity, technical support, lab operations, or a related area.
  • You have experience with REST APIs, JSON, HTTP, browser developer tools, command‑line tools, basic SQL, or Git.
  • You have created technical documentation, diagrams, presentations, videos, or learning materials for technical audiences.
  • You are familiar with learning platforms, content repositories, project‑management tools, reporting dashboards, collaboration tools, Agile, or Scrum.

Salary Range: $70,410-$88,013

In accordance with Colorado's Equal Pay for Equal Work Act (SB 19-085) the approximate compensation range for this role in Colorado is listed above. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors, such as knowledge, skills, and abilities.
