Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, mechanical aptitude, strong English communication, and the ability to read instructions and perform basic math. Training peers and maintaining safety are important parts of the role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; 2-year mechanical/technical education preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude with strong problem-solving skills.
• Fluent in English; strong verbal and written communication.
• Ability to read and understand work instructions and perform basic math for measurements.
• Experience with power and hand tools; computer proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Operate digital printers, silkscreen equipment, and heat-treating furnaces per SOPs.
• Ensure printed glass meets quality specs while minimizing downtime.
• Perform setup and teardown procedures for printing jobs.
• Maintain ink supplies and equipment cleanliness; comply with EPA/PCA requirements.
• Provide direction to support staff and train new team members.
• Complete daily documentation and ensure shift handoffs.
• Assist with related production tasks such as glass loading and seaming.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
• Follow safety protocols handling solvents, paints, and waste.
