Job summary

Torrey Holistics in Lenexa, KS is seeking a Digital Press Setup & Quality Specialist to ensure color accuracy, precise registration, and reliable production records. You will set up multiple digital presses, follow GSP specifications, perform first-article inspections, adjust parameters for quality and efficiency, and document daily activity.

The role requires good math, weekend availability, safety awareness, and a proactive, team-oriented mindset to train colleagues and keep the press area

Qualifications

• Experience with 4-color process is preferred.
• Pass a basic skills assessment.
• Good command of English (reading, writing, speaking).
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Willing to work weekends/overtime as required.

Responsibilities

• Set up, calibrate, and operate at least two digital press types.
• Follow GSP and industry specifications for every setup.
• Verify work order details and perform a first-article inspection.
• Adjust press parameters to meet quality and efficiency targets.
• Flag issues and coordinate with Managers and Maintenance Technicians.

Digital Press Setup & Quality Specialist

Can you switch between two or more digital press platforms with confidence?

Do you keep immaculate production records and a spotless press area?

Are you the person others turn to when a job needs quick, creative troubleshooting?

Your core responsibilities

• Set up, calibrate, and operate at least two different digital press types
• Follow GSP and industry specifications for every setup
• Confirm every work order detail—job number, letter code, color type, and file accuracy—then complete a first-article inspection
• Adjust press parameters to hit quality targets and meet/exceed print efficiency standards
• Flag and communicate technical issues to Managers/Supervisors; collaborate with Maintenance Technicians
• Complete daily and weekly documentation accurately and on time
• Apply in-depth understanding of GSP workflows, processes, and procedures
• Maintain maintenance logs and promptly report press downtime
• Keep press and surrounding area clean; perform basic machine maintenance
• Support adjacent departments and help train and coach teammates as required

Qualifications

• Experience with 4-color process (preferred)
• Mechanical aptitude (preferred)
• Organized and detail-focused; able to juggle high-volume workloads without sacrificing accuracy
• Deadline-driven with the ability to mitigate workflow disruptions
• Comfortable with basic math, fractions, and percentages
• Able to pass a basic skills assessment
• English proficiency in reading, speaking, writing, and comprehension
• Physically able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
• Available for weekend shifts and overtime as business requires
