Job summary

GSP Companies in Provo, UT is seeking a Digital Press Operator to operate and set up at least two wide-format digital press types to industry standards. You will confirm work order details, make standard adjustments, and ensure quality and efficiency across shifts.

Responsibilities include maintaining a clean press area, using color matching tools, cross-training in another department, and completing daily documentation. Weekend shifts and overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience operating large format printers or press equipment.
• Ability to read work orders and adjust settings to specs.

What you’ll do

• Operate and set up a minimum of two wide-format digital press types to GSP and industry standards.
• Confirm work order details and make standard press adjustments to uphold quality specifications.
• Meet or exceed print efficiency goals; oversee the print assistant and QCI for procedural compliance.
• Follow established workflows, processes, and procedures while maintaining a clean press and press area.
• Leverage a PMS color matching book and a densitometer to gauge dot characteristics and colorspace.
• Cross-train in at least one other department and support adjacent teams as needed.
• Complete all daily and weekly documentation accurately.

What you’ll bring

• 3–6+ months of machine operator experience preferred.
• Ability to write, read, communicate, and understand English.
• Willingness to work weekend shifts and overtime when required.
• Strict adherence to all safety requirements.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting and shop math.
