Job summary

Southern Champion Tray, LP seeks a Digital Press Operator for the 2nd shift in Mansfield, TX. You will set up and operate the digital printing press and laser cutter, ensuring quality and efficiency while minimizing waste.

Strong mechanical and computer skills are required, with English proficiency for documentation and communication. Responsibilities include color management, routine maintenance, and collaboration with Customer Service and Sales to meet customer specifications.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; at least 1 year in operations/production.
• Experience operating machinery; knowledge of print and color management is a plus.
• Proficient with computers and production software; able to read and understand English documents.

Responsibilities

• Set up and safely operate the digital printing press (Landa) and laser cutter (Sei).
• Monitor production, adjust run speeds, and minimize waste.
• Perform basic repairs and preventative maintenance on equipment.
• Ensure color accuracy, quality checks, and compliance with specs.
• Coordinate with Customer Service, Sales, and customers to meet expectations.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and document consumables.
