Job summary

RRD is seeking a 2nd shift Printing and Bindery Specialist in Wisconsin. Base pay ranges from $21 to $26.26 per hour, with a $1 per hour shift differential. The role involves setting up and running digital presses, monitoring output quality, and using bindery equipment.

Responsibilities include preparing jobs, reviewing client files, coordinating with Customer Service, and potentially producing color proofs. Location: Wisconsin; Department: Production & Manufacturing; 2nd Shift.

Qualifications

• Experience handling digital file formats (PDF, TIFF, EPS) across Mac/PC.
• Basic color management and ability to work with various formats.
• Ability to output digital files to multiple output devices and learn graphics software.
• Mechanical skills with small hand tools for repairs and setup.

Responsibilities

• Review job instructions to prepare jobs for printing on a Digital Press.
• Set up, program, and release jobs from the print queue.
• Monitor the quality of job output for correctness and image quality.
• Utilize bindery equipment to complete jobs (cutter, tabletop folder, creaser, shrink tunnel).
• Package jobs and prepare for shipping.
• Review electronic files from clients for completeness before plate making.
• Identify missing or problematic components and communicate them to Customer Service and production.
• Work with Customer Service and production to resolve issues.
• May prepare color proofs for customer review.
