Job summary

RRD Company is seeking a Printing and Bindery Specialist for the 2nd shift in its production facility in Wisconsin. The role involves preparing presses, verifying job specs, and maintaining ink, paper, and equipment to ensure quality runs.

The starting pay range is $17.00 to $19.00 per hour with a $3 per hour shift differential. Training on the 1st shift is required before transitioning to the 3rd shift, with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a printing environment preferred.
• Must be able to work in a team environment.
• Some experience in the operation of various hand tools preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepares the press for a run by verifying job specs and setting up the press.
• Inspects the fountain solution, inking systems, rolls of paper and related mechanisms.
• Maintains proper inventory of paper. Records usage and spoilage.
• Ensures the roll of paper is unwrapped, mounted and ready to splice.
• Monitors the flow of paper and installs new rolls when necessary.
• Assists with preventative maintenance of presses and repairs with maintenance personnel.
• May assist with make-readies and adjust ink/solvent/varnish as required.
• Follows safety policies and ISO Quality Manual.
