Job summary

RRD is seeking a 2nd shift Printing and Bindery Specialist to operate a Digital Press in Wisconsin. You will review job instructions, set up, program, and release jobs from the print queue, ensuring readiness for production.

You will monitor output quality, utilize bindery equipment (cutter, folder, creaser, shrink tunnel), package jobs for shipping, and coordinate with Customer Service to resolve issues. The role offers base pay from $21 to $26.26 per hour plus a $1 per hour shift differential.

Qualifications

• Good understanding of digital file formats (pdf, tiff, eps) from Mac and PC.
• Fundamental color management skills and ability to work with diverse digital formats.
• Mechanical skills with small hand tools for minor repairs and setup of equipment.

Responsibilities

• Review job instructions to prepare jobs for printing on a Digital Press.
• Set up, program, and release jobs from the print queue.
• Monitor output quality for correctness and image quality.
• Utilize bindery equipment (cutter, tabletop folder, creaser, shrink tunnel) to finish jobs.
• Package jobs and prepare for shipping.
• Review electronic files from clients for thoroughness before plate making.
• Identify missing or problematic components and communicate them to teams.
• Work with Customer Service Reps and production to resolve issues.
• May prepare color proofs for customer review.
