Job summary

RR Donnelley is seeking a Printing and Bindery Specialist for the 1st shift in Wisconsin. The role involves setting up, operating, and maintaining various press equipment, performing make-ready tasks, and ensuring color accuracy to meet quality standards.

You will be responsible for routine maintenance, minor repairs, and adherence to safety procedures. The position offers hourly pay and opportunities for overtime, with a shift from 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM, Monday to Friday, in an on-site setting.

Qualifications

Requires thorough knowledge of offset printing procedures, materials and specifications, equipment, and safety requirements.
Ability to read and understand job specifications and determine press usage, settings and materials for the job.
Skill to perform precise settings, adjustments, and routine maintenance on equipment.
Skill in routine maintenance and minor repairs to equipment.
Knowledge of packing pressure and printing pressure for different jobs.
Skill in mounting and aligning printing plates using micrometer.

Responsibilities

Set up, adjust, operate, and maintain a number of press equipment.
Perform all make-ready tasks such as hanging plates, installing cylinders, and checking images.
Make color corrections and press adjustments to meet quality specs.
Clean, lubricate, and maintain presses, replacing worn parts as required.
Perform periodic maintenance as recommended by the manufacturer.
Perform other duties as assigned.
