Description

SUMMARY

This is a hands-on role in operating digital printing press (flatbed) and cutting/routing CAD table in a rapidly growing digital print business. This will include the safe operation and maintenance of equipment necessary to produce printed products in the following categories: boxes, displays, banners, signage, and offline print applications. Candidate needs to have experience operating production related equipment, proactive, dedicated and enjoy working both independently and as part of multi-talented group that includes research, industrial and graphic design and brand strategy experts.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Operate printing/cutting equipment to ensure tasks are processed according to schedule. Verify all document outputs meet customer requirements.
2. Organize projects received from prepress or supervisor. Maintain equipment per daily, weekly and monthly schedules.
3. Retrieve all necessary work components, i.e.: die files, media, inks. Maintain a safe work environment.
4. Complete special projects and assignments as assigned by supervisor.
5. Responsible for the maintenance, creation and control of all personally identifiable information or any other information protected by any Confidentiality or Privacy Standards or Company Policies that you have access or knowledge of, including but not limited to any state or federal regulations including HIPAA.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Proficient in PC, Macintosh and server-based network.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, meet deadlines and work flexible hours to meet customer demands.
• Ability to work safely around hazardous chemicals.
• Ability to work independently.
• Ability to work flexible hours and overtime.
• Preferred Qualifications:
• High School Diploma and/or Graphics Trade School Certificate; 1-year experience in a production print shop environment.
• Self-motivated.
• Strong written and verbal skills; Detail Oriented.
• Ability to multi-task efficiently and strong time management.
• Available to work nights and weekends based on business needs.
• Must have attention to detail and focused concentration.
• Must be able to complete tasks that require a particular speed or productivity quota.
• Must be able to adhere to process protocol and apply established protocols in a timely manner.
