Job summary

Brook & Whittle Ltd. is seeking dependable Production Employees for weekend shifts (Saturday through Monday 5:00am-5:00pm) in Ohio. This manufacturing role offers hands-on training, a strong safety culture, and opportunities for advancement, with potential internal training after 90 days.

Pay ranges from $19.50 to $24.10 per hour, plus a 12% shift differential for weekend hours. Benefits include medical, life insurance, PTO, 401(k) with company participation, and elective company benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of printing experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
• Previous experience operating and HP press is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Read information from job tickets, acquire needed materials, load equipment with product and print files.
• Perform routine maintenance on schedule and according to procedure to promote machine stability and dependability.
• Monitor stock within production area and initiate timely requests for replenishment.
• Monitor the printing process to maintain print quality.
• Understand the machine capabilities to achieve optimum print quality.
• Ensure that the job is set up properly.
• Calibrate the digital press at the beginning of each shift or in-between jobs.
• Care and maintenance of equipment as directed or provided by the manufacturer.
• Assist in training individuals and other team members as assigned.
• Comply with established safety procedures and policies.
• Work with other departments and maintenance personnel on projects and validations.
• Focus on Continuous Improvement, Quality, Improved Cycle Times, Safety, Cost Reductions, and Customer Satisfaction.
• Comply with company policies, procedures, and core processes.
• Performs other job duties as assigned

Pay and Benefits

Pay: $19.50-$24.10/hour with a 12% shift differential added to the base pay when working weekend shift hours.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

• Responsible for (daily or weekly) care and maintenance of equipment as directed or provided by the equipment manufacturer.
• Assists in training individuals and other team members as assigned.
• Complies with established safety procedures and policies.
• Works with other departments and maintenance personnel on projects and/or validations.
• Focuses on Continuous Improvement, Quality, Improved Cycle Times, Safety, Cost Reductions, and Customer Satisfaction.
• Complies with company policies, procedures, and core processes.
• Performs other job duties as assigned

Requirements

• Strong math skills and understanding of metric and standard measurements/ conversions.
• Detail-oriented and capable of following standard work instructions.
• Ability to learn quickly and adopt new technologies in a fast-paced environment.
• Operate safely and efficiently while producing high quality work.
• Capable of working independently and collaboratively with a team.

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of printing experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
• Previous experience operating and HP press is preferred.

Physical Requirements & Environmental Conditions

• Manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, dust, dirt, and chemicals; OSHA safety standards enforced.
• Prolonged standing, walking, and repetitive tasks requiring bending, reaching, and stooping.
• Ability to operate equipment and visually inspect product.
• Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 20 pounds regularly and 50 pounds occasionally.
