Job summary

The Imagine Group, LLC in Illinois is seeking a motivated Pressroom Operator to support daily production schedules by staging and preparing all components for each job ticket at the press site.

You will work with digital presses, perform quality checks, monitor runs, document production details, and help with basic preventative maintenance. Overtime may be required; strong attention to safety and accuracy is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous pressroom experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work alongside and assist with operation of digital presses.
• Complete jobs according to customer specifications by producing quality work and performing quality checks.
• Monitor production runs for quality, maintaining all required samples as designated by procedures.
• Learn and perform basic preventative maintenance in accordance with production schedule.
• Review proofs for accuracy.
• Properly document production information.
• Move materials via material handling equipment including forklift and pallet jacks.
• Contribute to safety goals by maintaining a clean, clutter-free workplace, report potentially unsafe conditions.
• Meet productivity and quality standards by completing work in timely and accurate manner.
• Collaborate with Production Manager and other Team Members to address opportunities for improvement.
• Self-starter capable of taking initiative and working with minimal direction.
• A positive attitude including high energy, and a drive to contribute and make an impact.
• Able to perform complex tasks, prioritize multiple projects.
• Work overtime as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
