Job summary

First PREMIER Bank seeks a Digital Platform Business Systems Analyst to translate business needs into IT requirements. You will bridge business processes and technical solutions, supporting transformation and MVP delivery using low-code/no-code tools.

The role focuses on aligning digital platform strategy with operational needs in a banking context. The candidate will analyze processes, gather requirements, and collaborate with IT and business partners to implement effective technology

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, IT or related fields preferred, or equivalent work experience.
• 2+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst or functional consultant within a Pega environment.
• Pega Certified Business Architect (CBA) preferred; CSA or CSSA a plus.
• 1-2 years’ Banking/Financial industry experience preferred.
• Knowledge of BPM methodologies, workflow optimization, and designing process maps, user personas, and low-fidelity UI wireframes.
• Knowledge of the Agile lifecycle, including backlog management, writing detailed user stories with acceptance criteria, and using JIRA or Azure DevOps.
• Experience working with both business stakeholders and IT teams.
• Experience with low-code/no-code platforms.
• Exposure to business analysis, project delivery, process improvement, or system implementation activities.

Responsibilities

• Support strategic direction and digital platform roadmap by aligning initiatives with objectives.
• Advance maturity and optimization of digital capabilities.
• Interview, workshop, and requirements-gathering sessions with stakeholders.
• Elicit, analyze, document, and prioritize functional and technical requirements.
• Develop process flows, business cases, user stories, and supporting docs.
• Analyze processes to identify inefficiencies and risks.
• Recommend standardization and optimization solutions.
• Define system functionality with technical teams.
• Participate in solution design reviews and validation.
• Build, test, and deploy agile business apps using low-code/no-code platforms.
• Support implementation activities including configuration and user readiness.
• Develop test plans and acceptance criteria; support UAT.
• Ensure solutions meet documented requirements and quality standards.
• Create training materials and procedures to improve adoption.
• Act as liaison between business units and tech teams.
• Provide documentation and presentations; present insights from data analysis.
