Job summary

Wyetech, LLC is seeking a highly skilled cyber analyst to support federal government contracts from Maryland and other locations. You will use your expertise to identify vulnerabilities, respond to cyber events, and defend networks across diverse environments.

Candidates should have advanced knowledge of network security, vulnerability analysis, and information assurance, with experience in threat hunting, penetration testing, and security engineering.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is preferred or required for some roles.
• Experience in cyber defense, vulnerability assessment, and incident response.
• Background in computer/information systems design, security engineering, or related fields.

Responsibilities

• Identify vulnerabilities using intrusion detection and logs.
• Respond to cyber events and defend against potential attacks.
• Develop mitigations to strengthen network defenses and protect infrastructure.
• Clarify and document findings, share insights with team and stakeholders.
• Work with government, military and contractors on intelligence requirements.

• Relevant experience must be in computer or information systems design/development/analysis. In addition, it may also include engineering hardware and/or software, programming, computer/network security, vulnerability analysis, penetration testing, computer forensics, information assurance, systems engineering, and/or network and systems administration. Completion of military training in a relevant area such as JCAC (Joint Cyber Analysis Course) will be considered towards the relevant experience requirement (i.e., 24-week JCAC course will count as 6 months of experience).
• Information Technology (IT) and Information Security (IS) degrees may be considered relevant if the programs contain the amount and type of coursework equivalent to a Computer Science (CS) major.
