Job summary

OSU College of Business – Marketing, Communications and Events at Oregon State University in Corvallis seeks a Digital Multimedia Student Specialist. This part-time role (max 24 hours per week) focuses on capturing and editing videos and photos to support COB programs, websites, social media, newsletters and events.

The position emphasizes filming and editing, with content creation for COB websites, social channels, digital signage and outreach.

Qualifications

Must be academically enrolled in a high school, community college, or university and pursuing a program or course of study
Must meet Academic Standing Requirements; students on academic suspension are not eligible for employment
Must meet the applicable minimal enrollment standard

Responsibilities

Photo and video projects, as assigned.
Review the digital content calendar to coordinate multiple photo, video and content projects in advance to ensure adherence to deadlines.
Capture photos and videos that showcase COB programs, services, facilities, events and student experiences.
Organize, catalog and maintain a searchable library of photos and videos for future marketing and communications use.
Edit photos and videos for use across COB digital platforms, including websites, social media, digital signage and newsletters.
Adhere to Oregon State University and COB brand standards and policies, including the administration of model release waivers.
