Job summary

CSUMB is seeking a Jr. Multimedia Specialist to plan, produce, edit, organize, and distribute multimedia content across marketing, recruitment, and institutional storytelling initiatives. The role emphasizes professional video production and photography within brand standards.

Responsibilities include editing with color correction and audio work, asset management with PhotoShelter, and collaborating across University Communications to support campaigns and events.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Demonstrated proficiency operating professional photography and video production equipment.
• Strong knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud applications (After Effects preferred).

Responsibilities

• Performs professional editing of photography and video content for university channels.
• Edits interviews, documentaries, promotional videos, and recruitment campaigns.
• Coordinates multimedia workflows from capture to delivery and ensures brand consistency.
