Job summary

CesiumAstro is seeking an Engineering Manager, Digital & Mixed-Signal Hardware to lead high-speed digital and mixed-signal teams across multiple sites. You’ll own board- and system-level designs, ensure quality, and drive engineering processes in a fast-growing aerospace startup.

Role blends hands-on technical contribution with people leadership, staffing, and process maturity, while aligning with manufacturing and supply chain to deliver scalable hardware across product lines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering required.
• Minimum of 7 years direct digital or mixed-signal hardware engineering experience.
• Demonstrated ability to conduct rigorous technical reviews and mentor engineers.

Responsibilities

• Maintain technical integrity and engineering excellence for high-speed digital and mixed-signal electronics across the company.
• Lead architecture and design reviews with SME engagement across digital, RF, power, firmware, and mechanical disciplines.
• Contribute to board-level digital and mixed-signal designs as needed on high-risk programs.
• Lead or support complex debug efforts involving high-speed interfaces and large FPGA/processor implementations.
• Drive design-for-manufacturability, testability, and handoff to manufacturing with cross-functional teams.
• Ensure aerospace quality, reliability, and scalability in production environments.
