Job description

We’re looking for a mid-level remote Digital Marketing Strategist in South Africa to support our Account Manager and Media Buying team with campaign strategy, funnel direction, and cross-platform marketing planning. As we transition team members and scale client accounts, this role is essential to maintaining strategic momentum and producing results.

This is primarily an internal role but may occasionally be client-facing. You’ll be expected to ideate, collaborate, and guide, while being hands-on when needed with ad copy, funnel ideas, and creative strategy.

What You'll Do:

1. Build and evolve marketing strategies across Google, Meta, and YouTube based on client goals and data.
2. Collaborate daily with our Account Manager and Media Buyers to ensure strategy and execution are aligned.
3. Provide creative direction, including ad hooks, angles, landing page ideas, and funnel concepts.
4. Audit client accounts and make data-backed recommendations to improve performance.
5. Work with tools like GoHighLevel and other tech stacks for lead capture, automation, and reporting.
6. Stay up to date with trends and changes across major ad platforms.

What We’re Looking For:

1. 3+ years of experience in digital marketing strategy.
2. Hands-on knowledge of Google Ads, Meta Ads, and YouTube Ads.
3. Experience working with GoHighLevel and complementary marketing tech stacks.
4. Strong understanding of funnels, copywriting psychology, and customer journeys.

Compensation: $9 - $10 an hour
