Job summary

CoStar Group, Inc. is seeking a Sales Associate for Apartments.com in the Washington, D.C. area to serve as a strategic digital marketing partner to the multifamily industry.

You will present marketing solutions, prospect new clients, and expand existing accounts by identifying and developing new marketing offerings for portfolios. New hires receive extensive classroom and field training to gain product knowledge, credibility, and confidence to drive revenue while representing the Apartments.com

Qualifications

• Three or more years of outside sales experience in a B2B environment, preferably in digital marketing or advertising sales; or equivalent experience in the Multifamily industry.
• Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and quotas in a consultative sales environment.
• A track record of commitment to prior employers.
• Candidates must possess a current and valid driver’s license.
• Satisfactory driving record required prior to start and regular driving during employment.
• Bachelor's degree required from an accredited, not-for-profit, in-person college or university.

Responsibilities

• Develop new business opportunities using CoStar Groups market data to upsell and renew opportunities with current customers.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients as a trusted advisor to their marketing plan and grow revenue.
• Develop subject matter expertise in digital advertising, multifamily real estate, and market trends in the assigned territory.
• Collaborate with colleagues across teams to drive sales revenue and deliver excellent customer service.
• Deliver outstanding customer support through regular, value-add communication and market insights.
