Job summary

Rutgers University is seeking a Marketing and Communications Coordinator for the Robert Wood Johnson Medical School's Communication and Public Affairs team. The role focuses on web content, social strategy, and digital initiatives to elevate research, education, clinical programs, and faculty accomplishments.

You will work with department Chairs and faculty to ensure cohesive, accessible, brand-aligned communications compliant with Rutgers Health.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in a relevant field.
• At least 3 years of professional experience designing and managing websites.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain the Department of Medicine’s website content in alignment with Rutgers brand guidelines and accessibility standards.
• Collaborate with Rutgers Communications personnel to manage University Websites content.
• Coordinate content updates with department leadership to ensure accuracy and alignment with strategic priorities.
• Design intuitive, responsive web layouts for desktop and mobile.
• Audit and optimize the LinkedIn pages to align with Rutgers branding and tone.
• Develop and implement a LinkedIn content strategy highlighting achievements, research, events, and programs.
