Job summary

Amgen is seeking a Manufacturing Systems Engineer to bolster automation and digital manufacturing capabilities in a regulated biopharma setting. You will support PLC configuration, SCADA, MES, and IT systems, driving data-driven improvements while ensuring cGMP and cybersecurity compliance.

The role requires a Bachelors in engineering and 2 years’ experience in manufacturing systems/automation, with strong collaboration across engineering, quality, validation, and IT teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering and 2 years of Manufacturing Systems/Automation experience.
• Experience with MES and SCADA platforms.
• Knowledge of CSV, data integrity and cybersecurity in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Serve as SME in PLC configuration, SCADA, and manufacturing IT system technologies.
• Lead system implementation and support across production environments for automation systems.
• Collaborate with multi-functional teams to define system requirements and ensure alignment with operational goals.
• Monitor system performance and identify opportunities for optimization and automation.
