Job summary

Baker Hughes is seeking a Digital Manufacturing Program Leader in Houston, TX to drive data-driven manufacturing capabilities by integrating MES, PLM, and ERP with AI/ML. You will lead cross-functional programs, align stakeholders, and deliver production-ready digital solutions across the shop floor and enterprise systems.

You will manage governance, performance metrics, and execution, partnering with IT and operations to realize efficiency, quality, and traceability improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical discipline.
• Experience in manufacturing, engineering, or industrial environments.
• Proven leadership of complex digital manufacturing or enterprise transformation programs.
• Hands-on data engineering, analytics, or AI/ML with production delivery.
• Experience integrating enterprise systems such as MES, PLM, and ERP in manufacturing.
• Experience testing cycles (SIT/UAT), deployment, and handover.
• Strong program management, stakeholder engagement, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic digital manufacturing programs across shop floor, engineering, and enterprise systems.
• Translate objectives into actionable digital, data, and AI initiatives with defined outcomes.
• Establish governance, delivery frameworks, and performance metrics while managing scope, schedule, budget, and risks.
• Own end-to-end integration across MES, PLM, and ERP with data traceability.
• Define integration patterns, including APIs, event-driven architectures, and data pipelines.
• Lead data engineering, analytics, and AI solutions for manufacturing use cases.
• Ensure AI/ML moves from PoC to production within manufacturing workflows.
• Partner with data platform teams to establish MLOps practices and model lifecycle management.
• Drive alignment with software vendors and system integrators on architecture and delivery.
• Lead SIT, UAT, go-live readiness, deployment, and operational transition.
• Communicate program updates and risks to senior leadership.
