Job summary

Wisco Project in Madison, Wisconsin seeks a Digital Manager to lead our Youth Communities outreach. You will craft and execute our organic social media strategy to engage non-college youth across key geographies and mobilize voters.

Reporting to the Youth Communities Director, you will launch accounts, collaborate with local creators, monitor analytics, and optimize content to advance organizing goals while maintaining on-brand, compliant messaging.

Qualifications

• Experience leading organic media strategies for political campaigns or advocacy preferred.
• Understanding of organic social trends and best practices for youth audiences.
• Ability to rapidly produce high-quality content and manage multiple accounts.
• Passionate about civic engagement and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Launch and grow a series of accounts to support the Youth Communities program.
• Execute the program’s social media strategy and grow related accounts.
• Work with local content creators and incorporate them into the network.
• Implement and manage systems to keep content on-message, on-brand and compliant.
• Work with the organizing team to advance goals via social media.
• Track analytics to inform strategy and optimize content across platforms.
• Recommend strategic boosting of organic content.
• All other duties as assigned.
