Job summary

The Wisco Project is Wisconsin’s largest youth vote organization, running large-scale organizing and digital programs to mobilize students across the state. The Deputy Organizing Director will lead Organizing Staff, report to the Organizing Director, and guide programming with a strategic, collaborative approach.

Based in Madison, WI, the role requires in-person work and includes support housing if available.

Qualifications

• Has experience managing organizing staff and campaigns.
• Familiar with VAN and related data tools for monitoring programs.
• Proven ability to develop and implement organizing programming.
• Experience coordinating across departments and with partners.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple regions of organizing staff including RODs, Campus Organizers, and student fellows.
• Set strategic direction of the Organizing program with the Organizing Director.
• Build a team culture emphasizing collaboration, inclusion, and accountability.
• Collaborate with Operations, Data, Voter Access, and Creative teams as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
