Job summary

Boston Chinatown Neighborhood Center (BCNC) seeks a Digital Navigator to teach adult immigrants basic digital skills and ESOL, strengthening their pathways to employment. You will deliver in-person courses, provide lab support, and work with multilingual partners to recruit participants.

The role emphasizes curriculum development, outcome tracking, and collaboration with the Curriculum & Instructional Specialist and Adult Education leadership to address participant needs.

Qualifications

• Experience teaching adults with varying English levels using hands-on methods.
• Ability to adapt curriculum for ESOL and digital navigation.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with immigrant communities.

Responsibilities

• Lead implementation of the Digital Equity Fund for immigrant adults.
• Develop and adapt digital literacy curriculum using Tech Goes Home and ESOL materials.
• Plan and teach three eight-week in-person courses: Foundational, Basic, and Intermediate Computer Skills.
• Provide weekly open-lab support for devices, internet access, and online forms.
• Recruit participants through programs, partners and community outreach in Chinatown.
