Job summary

Barge Design Solutions, Inc. is offering a paid summer internship in Nashville, TN for 2027.

The program provides full-time hours (40 per week) in-person collaboration with mentors across engineering and architecture disciplines. Qualified students pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Systems, Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields with a minimum 3.0 GPA are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Must be pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree from an accredited university.
• Major: Information Systems, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• Current GPA of 3.0 or higher.
• Interest in emerging technology, innovation, automation, and digital transformation.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
• Ability to learn new technologies and concepts quickly.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• You must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Exploring emerging technologies and their potential applications within an engineering and architecture organization.
• Supporting the research, development, and testing of innovative digital solutions.
• Assisting with prototypes, proofs of concept, process automation, and technology pilots.
• Identifying opportunities to improve workflows and business processes through technology.
• Supporting the evaluation and implementation of new digital tools; Documenting solutions, processes, testing results, and recommendations.
• Collaborating with technical and business teams to understand challenges and develop potential solutions.
• Supporting Digital team project deliverables and collaborating on new ideas and innovations.
