Job summary

Amsive is seeking a hands-on printing operator for its Bolingbrook facility. You will set up and run inkjet web printing equipment, ensuring quality and throughput to meet client requirements.

The role requires attention to detail, the ability to read job tickets, and experience with Ricoh VC60000/VC70000 or similar printers. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work nights with weekend variability.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot printing equipment.
• Ensure proper sorting according to USPS requirements and track time data.

Work Hours: 7pm – 7am Thurs - Saturday and every other Wednesday and a 7am - 7pm Thurs - Sat every other Wednesday. With expected mandatory additional hours including weekends

Pay: Starting at $25.00 per hour based on experience/ skills

What we are looking for

Professional to operate and maintaininkjet webdigital printing production equipment.Combining technical skills with attention to detail to meet customer requirements efficiently.

What you will be doing

Set-up, Operating and Maintenance:

• Set up printing jobs by selectingappropriate settings, loading digital files, and configuring printing parameters according to job specifications.
• Operateprintmachine(s) independently for all types of jobs.
• Handle and prepare printing materials, including loading paper, adjusting settings, and managing inventory.
• Digital print operators perform regular maintenance tasks on printing equipment, such as cleaning, calibrating, and troubleshooting technical issues.
• Consistently achieves expected throughput/efficiency.
• Able to run 100% mail well for critical clients.
• Provide proper adjustments to meet established hourly production standards.
• Ensure proper sorting according to USPS requirements.
• Reconciling/recording for alloutput.
• Accurately use job datacapture to tracktime.

Quality:

• Ensure that the printed materials meet quality standards bymonitoringthe printing process for consistency, color accuracy, and print quality.
• Maintain an organized, safe, and clean work area.
• Effectively usethe qualitycontrol proceduresmonitoringquality of the final output.
• Reviews schedule for jobs assigneddaily;reportsissues back to Supervisor.
• Follow all plant, department and work area safety rules and operation procedures.

Who you are:

• Experienceoperatinga Ricoh VC60000/VC70000 or similar inkjet continuousweb printer.
• Workhistory of longevity, excellentattendanceand responsibility.
• Experience working in adetail orientedanddeadline drivenenvironment.
• High School/GED oran equivalentcombination of education and experience.
• Knowledge of USPS regulations.
• Ability to read and understand job tickets.

Supervisory Responsibilities: None

Work Environment: Position operates in a regulated manufacturing print/mail production facility

Physical Demands:

• Stand and walk for up to 12 hours, with frequent bending, kneeling, and reaching
• Must be able to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds
• Perform repetitive motions in a fast-paced production environment

Security Clearance: Amsive is a Federal Contractor, and this position may require government security clearance for certain projects.
