Altro Health is seeking a Clinical Ops Coordinator to keep clinical operations running smoothly in a digital health environment. You will handle order processing, patient communications, and care coordination, ensuring timely fulfillment and escalation when needed.

The role requires 4+ years of clinical experience, bilingual English/Spanish communication, and a reliable morning ET schedule. This is a remote US-based contractor position with flexible hours and startup pace.

What you’ll do

You’ll keep clinical ops humming alongside our COO in a digital health company with a human-centered mindset at the cutting edge of longevity. You won’t own the function — you’ll be the extra set of eyes and hands that makes sure nothing slips.

Specifically:

• Execute clinical protocols — follow established clinical workflows for order processing, patient communication, and care coordination. Flag deviations early and elevate appropriately.
• Manage the daily order queue — monitor at-risk orders, coordinate with labs and pharmacies to keep fulfillment moving, and escalation before delays occur.
• Handle asynchronous patient messaging and phone line — triage inbound patient messages and respond in a warm, clinically-sound voice. You know when to answer, when to elevate, and when to loop in a clinician.
• Support internal care coordination — serve as the connective tissue between clinical, fulfillment, and partner teams as needed to provide clinical clarifications. Keep handoffs clean and nothing falling through the cracks.

Who we’re looking for

• Clinically fluent. MA, LVN/LPN, RN, or clinical coordinator background. You’ve reviewed scripts, handled patient comms, and know when to elevate.
• 4+ years of clinical experience, including at least 1 year at a digital health company with async patient communication.
• Excellent bilingual written and spoken communication style— your tone and clarity matter. You’ll be communicating directly with US-based English- and Spanish-speaking patients and partners.
• Reliable schedule, specifically in morning ET hours. This is non-negotiable — please don’t apply if you can’t work mornings New York time or do not have a reliable schedule.
• Excited by startup growth. Tools change, processes evolve, and you’re fine with that. Bonus if you’ve worked at a concierge clinic, digital health company, or DTC health startup.
• Detail-oriented. You catch issues early and document as you go.

Compliance requirements

• Must be based in and work from the United States
• Willing to sign a BAA and complete a background check before starting
• Prior HIPAA training, or willing to complete it before starting
• All patient communication stays in company systems

Nice to have

• Professional Spanish fluency (spoken and written) — we serve a Spanish-speaking patient population and this is a meaningful differentiator
• Experience with EHRs, telehealth platforms, or pharmacy/lab portals
• Background in functional/longevity medicine, peptides, or hormone optimization
• Customer service experience at a high-touch consumer brand
