Job summary

WFXR in Roanoke, Virginia is seeking a Digital Strategist to join our team as a Strategic Account Manager. You will work with the sales team to grow digital accounts and craft plans using our digital tools.

The role includes prospecting, presenting to clients, managing campaigns with vendors, and coordinating with creative services to deliver compelling digital advertising. A bachelor’s degree and strong knowledge of the digital space are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing/Advertising/Mass Communications or equivalent
• Strong knowledge of the digital space
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
• Organized, detail-oriented and quick to learn in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to advise sellers and decision makers on digital opportunities and products
• Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Responsibilities

• Grow existing and new digital accounts
• Implement strategies to grow digital revenue
• Establish relationships with local business community
• Prospect, qualify, close and grow new business
• Make sales calls to prospective clients
• Prepare and deliver sales presentations
• Collaborate with sales team and vendors on campaigns and performance feedback
• Provide clients with rate information for advertising across media
• Work with creative services on client ads for digital campaigns
• Handle order entry, contracts, follow-up and collections
• Perform other duties as assigned
