Job summary

U.S. Bank in California seeks a Relationship Banker to build trusted client relationships across in-person, by appointment, and virtual channels, providing personalized financial guidance while promoting digital banking options.

You will open accounts, process transactions, educate clients on products, and collaborate with branch teammates to deliver an exceptional client experience while maintaining compliance and following NMLS requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Typically less than four years of job-related, retail banking experience or a combination of experience and commensurate training.
• Proven ability to build and foster relationships with clients through proactive outreach and follow up.
• Ability to effectively engage and communicate with clients.
• Thorough knowledge of applicable bank and branch policies, procedures and support systems.
• Proven customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with using and demonstrating digital products and self-service technologies.
• Ability to explore and identify a customer’s true needs while leveraging a digital first mindset.
• Demonstrated basic level of proficiency in making appropriate recommendations that meet customer’s needs both reactively and proactively.
• Experience in the financial services industry preferred.

Responsibilities
