Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent
• 1 year of experience in manufacturing, printing, or packaging preferred
• Ability to read safety rules and operating/maintenance instructions
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure
• Ability to read rulers and measurement devices
• Must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds
• Color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment required

Responsibilities

• Receive job assignments and select correct dies, cores and rewind method.
• Review job jacket to ensure finishing, packaging, and shipping specs are addressed.
• Inspect products to ensure quality and package them.
• Observe flow of material to detect cutting and winding issues.
• Ensure color, size, die cut, perforations, print, and quantity meet specs.
• Assist in cutting, collating, wrapping, and packaging of converting jobs.
• Perform preventative maintenance on machines.
• Remove or replace blades on inspection machines.
• Complete paperwork for each job and package finished goods for shipment.
