Resource Label Group is hiring a Finishing Operator to set up and operate label inspector machines, perform visual quality checks, and slit printed material into specified widths. You will read job specs, select dies and rewind methods, and ensure all finishing, packaging, and shipping requirements are met.

The role requires standing and walking, the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and reading rulers and measurement devices.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• 1 year manufacturing/printing or packaging experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and operating instructions.
• Ability to read and interpret ruler, scales and other measurement devices.
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and frequently is required to walk.
• The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds with or without mechanical assistance.

Responsabilités

• Receives job assignments and reads job specifications to select dies, cores and rewind method.
• Reviews job jacket to ensure finishing, packaging, and shipping specs are addressed.
• Inspect products for quality and package them.
• Observe material flow to detect cutting/ winding issues.
• Ensure quality of color, size, die cut, perforations, print and quantity.
• Assist in cutting, collating, wrapping, and packaging of converting jobs.
• Perform preventative maintenance on machines.
• Remove or replace blades on inspection machines.
• Complete paperwork for each job and package finished goods for shipment to customer.
