Job summary

Resource Label Group, LLC is seeking a Finishing Operator to setup and run label inspector machines, slitting printed material into specified widths and performing visual quality checks. You will report to the Production Manager and help ensure accurate packaging and shipping of finished goods.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, 1 year in manufacturing, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Pay is $17.00 per hour with benefits and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, or equivalent combination.
• 1 year of manufacturing or printing/packaging experience preferred.
• Ability to read safety rules and operating manuals.
• Basic math and measurement reading skills.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to plant team and foster collaboration.
• Recruit, train, and develop workforce with safety focus.
• Read job specs and select dies, cores, and rewind method.
• Review job jacket to ensure finishing, packaging, and shipping specs.
• Inspect products for quality and packaging.
• Monitor material flow to detect irregular cuts and winding.
• Ensure quality in color, size, die cut, perforations, prints.
• Assist in cutting, collating, wrapping, and packaging.
• Perform preventative maintenance on machines.
• Replace blades on inspection machines.
• Complete job paperwork and ship finished goods.
• Maintain clean, organized work areas.
