Job summary

Capgemini Invent in New York, NY seeks a Senior Consultant to drive engineering and digital transformation programs. Focus areas include MBSE/MBE, PLM, digital thread, and digital twins within manufacturing, automotive, and aerospace & defense contexts.

You will translate technical requirements to business value, lead MBSE initiatives, and contribute to proposals and client presentations while traveling up to 50% as needed.

Qualifications

• 5–8+ years of experience in digital engineering, software delivery, or technology consulting.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, information systems, or related field.
• Experience in transformation programs within Engineering or R&D for Manufacturing, Automotive or A&D.
• Strong understanding of MBE, PLM, MBSE solutions/approach.
• Understanding of the PLM processes.
• Experience in model-based engineering, MBEE? MBSE, digital twins, or digital thread areas.
• Proven ability to solve complex business problems using data and technology-enabled approaches.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to engineering and digital transformation programs across Engineering and R&D.
• Support delivery of MBSE, PLM, MBSE, digital twins, and digital thread initiatives.
• Collaborate as a team to execute engineering transformation projects for clients.
• Support new business development via proposals, client presentations, and contracts.
• Drive innovation by staying current with industry trends and tools.
• Communicate complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Use data and analytics to optimize engineering performance and decision-making.
• Collaborate with senior stakeholders to shape digital roadmaps and operating models.
• Travel up to ~50% on average, onsite at client locations as required.
