Job summary

MFS invites undergraduate students to join a Digital Developer Co‑op, working with a small team of web developers, business analysts and QA engineers to support internal partners in delivering and enhancing systems.

The six‑month program runs Monday–Friday, 35–40 hours per week, beginning January 13, 2027. It provides hands-on experience across the software development lifecycle, Agile practices, Jira and Confluence, and exposure to the financial services industry.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in a computer-related field; MIS concentrations welcome.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Java, Python, C/C++, or SQL preferred.
• Familiarity with HTML/JavaScript/CSS a plus.
• Experience writing clean, maintainable code and unit tests.

Responsibilities

• Writes, debugs, and tests code following best practices.
• Collaborate with developers, testers, and engineers to deliver features.
• Contribute to SDLC and multiple projects in a scrum team.
• Maintain technical documentation and procedures.
