Bestica is hiring a Digital Designer to provide services at Wright Patterson AFB located in Dayton, OH - ONSITE.

Description of Services : The 711th Human Performance Wing (711 HPW), headquartered at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Ohio, is the first human-centric warfare wing to consolidate human performance research, education and consultation under a single organization. Established under the Air Force Research Laboratory, the 711 HPW is comprised of the Airman Systems Directorate (RH) and the United States Air Force School of Aerospace Medicine (USAFSAM). The Wing delivers unparalleled capability to the Air Force through a combination of world class infrastructure and expertise of its workforce of military, civilian and employee personnel encompassing 75 occupational specialties including science and engineering, occupational health and safety, medical professions, technicians, educators, and business operations and support.

Work Schedule : Monday – Friday 0730-1630

Mandatory Requirements :

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in graphic design, Digital Media, Visual Communications, or a related field.
• 2 years of professional experience in digital design.
• The employee should be proficient with Adobe programs including Premier Pro, Audition, Photoshop, After Effects, Illustrator, captivate; proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, SharePoint, and PowerPoint; must have ability to manage projects independently and as part of a team. Must have the ability to work through problems quickly and independently.
• Basic knowledge of video editing or motion graphics (for animated signage or marketing content).
• Ability to prep assets for web and print, understanding resolution, file formats, and accessibility.
• Employee must have a Non-Disclosure Agreement in place with their company, and the company must provide a copy to the Program Manager of this task order. This is necessary to mitigate transfer of any confidential, proprietary and/or sensitive information while in this position.

Highly Desired Requirements :

• Familiarity with Department of Defense branding and communication policies (ex. Tongue and Quill).
• Experience working in the military setting, understanding of rank structure, policies, and procedures.
• Experience designing for digital signage (understanding screen ratios, motion graphics, and optimal content duration).
• Knowledge of layout principles, color theory, typography, and visual hierarchy.
• Familiarity with web-based design tools.
