Job summary

Rolls-Royce is hiring a Digital Design and MBD/MBE Engineer in Indianapolis, IN. This hybrid role focuses on expanding Siemens NX functionality, AI-driven testing, and enabling PLM/MBD systems across the organization.

You will also develop CAD automations, support manufacturing with master product definitions, and own the global MBD solution (ANARK, CADIQ, STEP). This is a hands-on engineering position with strong collaboration across teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology with 2+ years of experience; OR Master’s; OR PhD.
• U.S. Citizen required for consideration.
• Demonstrated skills in advanced CAD modeling (Siemens NX), PLM (Teamcenter), and GD&T per ASME Y14.5M/ISO.

Responsibilities

• Increase NX functionality across Rolls-Royce through AI and regression testing (NX, NX Copilot, Teamcenter updates).
• Support Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and Model Based Definition (MBD) systems.
• Develop CAD geometric feature automations to boost modeling efficiency and capability.
• Own the tactical MBD solution (ANARK, CADIQ, STEP configuration) globally and contribute to LOTAR, NX Open.
• Collaborate with manufacturing engineering to create Product Definition Master Models that meet design and manufacturing needs.
