Job summary

Neal R. Gross and Co. seeks Digital Court Reporters to accurately record proceedings across courts and government events. Training is provided with up to two weeks in DC, and candidates must reside in New York with willingness to travel.

You will represent the firm at a range of locations, interact with high-level clients, and prepare executive summaries and minutes, ensuring proofreading and quality control throughout the process.

Qualifications

• Previous digital court reporting experience required.
• New York notary certification preferred.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
• Excellent English language skills, both written and spoken.
• Ability to pass security screenings for access to client sites.

Responsibilities

• Represent the company in a professional manner at proceedings.
• Interact with high-level clients (Federal Govt, State Govt, Private Industry).
• Digitally record and report proceedings.
• Proofread to ensure quality control on final work product.
• Write executive summaries and meeting minutes for various proceedings.

Job description

Neal R. Gross and Co. is growing our team of Digital Court Reporters. We are a leading Court Reporting and Transcription services company based out of the Washington, DC area. As a trained Court Reporter, you will use specialized equipment to create an accurate record of proceedings in numerous noteworthy places including legal courts, non-profit board rooms, and even Congressional committee hearings. This position requires a focused and motivated candidate with the ability to work in an autonomous setting.

NRGCo provides comprehensive paid training to new hires in order to provide you with the tools necessary to succeed. Applicants must be willing to train in DC for up to 2 weeks. All equipment, hardware, and software are provided.

Location: We are looking for candidates based in New York (must reside in NY)

At NRGCo you will:

• Represent the company in a professional manner at a variety of proceedings at a range of locations (primarily in New York, with opportunity for domestic and international travel).
• Interact with high-level clients (Federal Govt, State Govt, Private Industry)
• Digitally record and report proceedings
• Proofread to ensure quality control on final work product
• Write executive summaries and meeting minutes for a variety of proceedings
