Job summary

WOOD TV8 is seeking a Digital Content Producer to create 3-5 locally focused stories each day for woodtv.com, and to produce engaging posts for our social channels while ensuring all broadcast copy meets digital standards.

You will curate high-performing content from wire services, curate homepage layouts driven by data, and edit/publish reporter verticals, fronting verticals when needed to support audience growth and brand stewardship.

Job description

The Digital Content Producer is responsible for creating 3-5 locally focused stories each day for woodtv.com (everything from quick-hits to breaking news and enterprise reports), producing engaging posts for our social channels, editing broadcast copy to ensure it meets digital standards, curating high-performing content from wire services, and zoning homepage layouts driven by data. This position also edits/publishes reporter verticals and may front verticals occasionally.

This role will contribute to building a loyal audience by being responsive to traffic patterns and audience interest while serving as a steward of our brands.
